Carmel Valley ist wesentlich w\u00e4rmer als Monterey, da es im Landesinneren liegt. Im Ort gibt es viele kleine Restaurants und Wine Tastings. Unter der Woche ist wenig los, nach Corona noch weniger. In der Gegend wird Wein angebaut, allerdings m\u00fcssen die Reben bew\u00e4ssert werden, da es von Mai bis Oktober nicht regnet. Gar nicht. Wein ist hier sehr teuer, f\u00fcr ein Glas im Restaurant zahlt man zwischen 10 und 15 Euro. Im Anschluss machen wir eine Wanderung im Garland Ranch Regional Park.
