Der Name der Stadt ist spanischen Ursprungs und lautete anf\u00e4nglich \u201eSaucelito\u201c, was auf Deutsch \u201ekleine Weide\u201c bedeutet. Durch seine Lage am n\u00f6rdlichen Ende der Golden Gate Bridge\u00a0hat Sausalito viele Besucher. Auch \u00fcber den Wasserweg kommen Touristen in die Stadt.\u00a0Es verkehrt eine F\u00e4hre zwischen dem Ferry Building und Sausalito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure
